J. Brooks Joyner

J. Brooks Joyner, director of Joslyn Art Museum, has more than 30 years of academic, curatorial and administrative experience in art museums and art history. Prior to his appointment as director of Joslyn in 2001, he was director of the Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa, Okla. He also served as director of the Vancouver Art Gallery in Vancouver, British Columbia; director of the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts in Alabama; executive director of the South Bend Arts Center in Indiana; and director of the Nickle Arts Museum and University Gallery at the University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada
